Worked example — The reconciliation that pays suppliers twice

Two days a month of manual matching, and occasionally a supplier gets paid twice. Fixing it is squarely the right thing to do. Career risk if it goes wrong: 3. Bureaucracy in the way: 5.

It came out at 7.9. Green — go.

Now set alignment to 0 — you're doing it to be seen doing it — and the whole thing collapses to zero no matter how big the impact is. That's structural, not sentimental: this formula has no route to a good score without good intent.
